I believe that art is a language of human experience. My practice is born from and inspired by time, place, presence and memory. The works themselves are relics of lived experience.

As a landscape painter I love spending time in the outdoors and in the natural world. My works are often taken from sketches and photographs taken in wild places. They each convey a singular direction, to paint the impression of standing and being somewhere at sometime, of sharing true experience.

Practicing in Sydney, most of my work is done using material gathered during hikes and adventures into nature at home and abroad.
